The University at Albany women’s softball team faced Binghamton in a series of games this weekend. UAlbany lost their first game, struggling to put up points in the first two innings. However, the Danes did put on a show later in the game by stopping Binghamton from scoring for the rest of the game and when Elizabeth Snow hit a three-run home run in the seventh inning.

The Danes won the second game with a score of 10-2. Mackenzie Cleary and Maggie Cocks both hit home runs at the top of the first inning. These gave UAlbany a five point lead at the start of the game.

UAlbany will face Binghamton in a home game tomorrow at noon to end the weekend series.
