Men’s Lacrosse Stands 20th in Both National Polls

ALBANY, N.Y. — After defeating Bryant, 17-15, in the only game of the week, UAlbany stands at #20 on both the USILA Coaches’ Poll and the Nike/Inside Lacrosse Media Poll.

The Great Danes used a school-record setting Miles Thompson, who scored a program-best nine goals, to defeat the Bulldogs. With the win, the Great Danes held their position on the Media Poll, while dropping one spot in the Coaches’ Poll.

UAlbany, now 4-2 on the season after winning three straight games, will host Bucknell on Saturday. The Bison are ranked 15th on the Coaches’ Poll and 16th in the Media Poll this week.
