Kadeem Williams Signs Free Agent Deal With Arizona Cardinals

ALBANY, N.Y. – Following the conclusion of Saturday’s NFL Draft, the University at Albany’s Kadeem Williams signed an undrafted free agent deal with the Arizona Cardinals. Williams, a 6-7, 310-pound offensive tackle marks UAlbany’s 11th player to sign an NFL contract.

Playing in 45 games in his career, the Jersey City native was a two-time first-team All-Northeast Conference award winner as well as a 2012 College Sports Madness second-team All-America honoree. In 2012, Williams helped UAlbany to the league’s top-ranked scoring offense (34.1), and limited opponent sacks to just 1.45 per game, starting all 11 games at left tackle.

In addition to helping UAlbany win back-to-back NEC titles (2011-12), Williams also played a key role in the Great Danes’ jump to the Colonial Athletic Association in 2013, and was named a Preseason All-American by Phil Steele’s College Football Preview.
